Thyatira

The church at Thyatira was entrenched in the works of evil, not only tolerating the prophet Jezebel, but joining in the immorality and idolatry. This letter reminds us that our works on earth do matter, because they reveal where our true affections lie. It is certain that Jezebel and her lovers will be destroyed, but for those who love and follow Jesus, there is a promise of hope - we will reign with Him.
